Rhinoplasty

Why is this surgery performed?

Rhinoplasty is a surgical procedure performed to improve the appearance of the nose, a cosmetic result that is in harmony with the remainder of the face. It is also performed to alleviate blockage of the nasal airway and to create an air passage that allows for comfortable and unhindered breathing. In most cases the cosmetic (enhancing the appearance of the nose) and functional (improving the nasal airway) are both addressed in the same procedure.

Please make a consultation to create a surgical plan customized for you.

Following are patients who have undergone Rhinoplasty under Dr. Sreenivas Murthy T.M.

Case 1

Ms. ASM had visited Dr. Sreenivasa Murthy as she felt the shape of her nose could be enhanced. In the post-operative image, tip cartilage of the nose was contoured to appear thinner.

This lateral view of her face shows a dorsal hump reduction procedure.

Both these changes resulted in her facial appearance being more feminine and cosmetically appealing.

Case 2

Ms. CGS observed that the dorsum of her nose was depressed and visited Dr. Sreenivasa Murthy. Comparison of preoperative and postoperative oblique view shows her nasal dorsum has now been raised, eliminating the supra-tip depression.

Case 3

Ms. SK is a student who presented with a condition that required both aesthetic and functional improvements for her nose. She had been experiencing nasal obstruction which led to difficulty in smooth breathing and external appearance could be described as crooked with a nasal tip that was droopy and enlarged.

Post - Rhinoplasty operation, nasal obstruction (nose-blocked sensation) she was experiencing cleared along with dorsal hump reduction making her face more cosmetically appealing.
